New Low Loaders in Fleet
Millars Transport have taken possession of two new Modern Transport Engineers tri axle double extending and deck widening low loaders.
The new low loaders are oversize tri axle configuration and feature a double deck extension which extends the trailers by 8 meters. Both forward and rear deck sections are also deck widening to 3.5 meters. The airbag suspension allows for a plush ride, and the fold up top deck allows the trailers to be classified as a drop deck or a low loader in any state in Australia.
The oversize tri axle group allows an axle mass rating of 27,000kg. The widening pontoons are also a feature of these low loaders, with the decks splitting in the middle of the chassis, allowing the widening pontoons to be 1245mm wide.
